This is my M1 Garand after getting re-barreled along with some of the accessories. I apologize the the photo isn't the best of quality mainly because I had to use the photo function of a camcoder which only goes into HD in video form.

I'm guessing your into competition shooting, XD. My old man wants to restore one eventually... I on the other hand prefer new goods. The old school knife is legit though XD, I dig.
TIP: lose the cable lock, kids can cut it with a multi-tool and burglars aren't waiting for you to fumble with the key.

The cable lock is only a temporary thing during transport, just in case I get pulled over due to a janky tail light. Mainly because the closest legit gunsmith was in another state. What I really use is a padlock or a trigger lock.
Anyways, I haven't done any competition shooting though I do collect classic firearms. I plan on trying it out soon enough. ^_^

Yeah, and surprisingly enough the Garand didn't have the crazy recoil that I thought it would have when compared to firing a Mosin. Maybe it has something to do with me getting used to the recoil or something, I don't know. Regardless, it was fun to shoot though. ^_^
Not really, you have to pass a background check which can take at least three months before getting the license, if you pass. If you do get the license, you have to make sure the gun your getting is legal in your state. Make one bungle, whether it be getting a gun that's registered as a curio and/or doesn't meet the age requirements, the ATF will be breathing down your neck.
