In my story, "New Animal Life", Merida and her family, King Fergus, Queen Elinor, and the triplets (Harris, Hubert and Hamish) as a family of black bears.
While they are still the royal family of DunBroch, they live in Sheepland (NAL version of Scotland).
Merida is still the princess of DunBroch, but she now follows her path and lives her own life. She currently has found a more suitable lover named Allister “Al” Burnett (http://fav.me/d56kemb).
When Queen Elinor no longer stubborn about following tradition and accepts her daughter's free-spirited ways, she tries out archery with her daughter as her teacher.
King Fergus is still the heroic yet silly father of Merida. He, at first, was suspicious at Allister for being Merida's suitor, but Merida and Queen Elinor assures him that Allister is just right for her.
The triplets remain the trouble-making kids they are well-known today, still stir up a bit of mischief, especially if sweets are at stake.

It looks merida king Fergus queen Elinor and the triplets have all become the black bear family and they all lived happily in peace in their brand new home the bear cave in the Scottish forest of Scotland and this will make them all comfy and cold and hot and so from that day on the black bear can do what ever they want they will all eat honey and drink water and goes swimming in the big lake and go fishing to catch some fish in the river streams and they will all also find berries to eat because it's their favourite!
