All I'm thinking of is you trying to handsew at like four am and then dramatic music playing xD
This is seriously amazing though. The trimming so far looks flawless and the accents that I can kinda see at t he cheek are just mind boggling by what I see so far. I really like the way that the fur was trimmed above the eye, it's extremely natural and I think you're the only maker who has really mastered that.

Airbrushing and painting in general can create some fantastic effects, however this shows the real power that can be yielded by taking full advantage of the contrast that only the fur itself can provide.
I'm trying to work through making my own first suit and while It's going quite well (especially for a first go), I could always use a little bit of extra information. Do you sew any of the fur prior to attaching it to the head? Do you shave the fur prior to sewing/attaching, after, or both?

Thank you, I do appreciate the info. I'm using a resin base from DVC at the moment, however I will be experimenting with wire sculpting at some point. I've done a fox sculpture out of wire in the past and it turned out pretty well. I understand rust can be a concern, as can pointy bits in one's face, but it does seem like a worthwhile experiment.
