You know...with Shining Armor and Cadence showing the virtues of gender equality over any sexism...which pony would be more likely to oppose the challenge to feminism/matriarchy? Celestia has the benefit of 1000+ years of wisdom and had Shining Armor as her effective General...Discord needs but one look from Fluttershy and he won't mess with anyone...Twilight's as logical and level-headed as they come, and Luna isn't so petty as to do this...
