odd pose. of course, with satan's fork and all, this still appeals greatly to me. XD

as for the pose, I would place the right leg straight instead of turned in, with the joints staying in place, while I would suggest you try to give the left leg a pose as though he was making a step towards the viewer. upper leg straight down, foreleg bendt back and lifted far enough to lift the paw off the ground should work. then have the tail swish to the right in a long curve. then turn the shoulders a tiny bit counter-clockwise so the right arm comes behind the chest. it would also help the left arm's gesture a bit and bring movement into the picture.
as for the face, go and look up a front view of a lion's head again. the muzzle and lips seem far too wide for a feline. also, the nosetips' form is wrong, looks like a wolf nose to me.

thanks for the tips, its mostly a very rough sketch, which is obvious due to the fact it has lines and circles lol, which isn't usually the style i use for drawing bu occasionally i find it useful, i'll work on making it look correct and nicer whenever i get around to actually finishing it (who knows when that'll actually be lol) but i'll keep all your tips in mind for it ^_^
