Man, I'm gonna cram this comment here 'cause it seems like it's doomed to come off a little backhanded [and also apply the usual disclaimer that this comes from someone with no artistic talent anyway] ...
Something about your earlier stuff made me a little 'uncomfortable' [in furry terms: I-can't-fap-to-this], and this seems to be the closest example I can find that's still in your gallery, although it's not really in strong evidence here! Looking at how 'awesome' [translate appropriately based on prior parenthebracketses] your current stuff is, I think I was getting a vibe that you were mocking the ridiculousness of the subject-matter... and your newer stuff is not quite dripping with that to-my-eyeballs in the same way, and that makes me happy and-not-as-creepy-feeling because it looks like you're invested in it and doing-what-you-like enough to make whatever aesthetic tweaks convey that in a picture! [Sort of like what the ancient greeks figured out to make sure that everyone looked pretty damn good in a sculpture, but with cartoon rats.]
I'm not sure if what I was reacting to was even intentional/subconscious, or just an accident of your art style and now you're branching out more! But the faint trace of it I catch in this picture is that this guy still looks a little upset about the ridiculousness of the fact that portions of him are now a horse, rather than overcome by all the actual, immediate and visceral ridiculousnesses inherent in turning into a horse! Never mind that horses are not masters of hominid expression and this sniffly-buhh look is probably totally accurate (particularly if he wasn't expecting it and it just stalled at this point for a good while and now he's way further into the what-do-I-do-now-other-than-have-rad-sex-and-how-the-heck-do-I-get-that-anyway-if-I-can't-open-the-doorknob-with-hooves? aspect of TF that most artists don't dip into).
... Not slapping this up out of any ill will; I totally find the *reactions* to furry art as holistically ridiculous as the concept of it itself, but exploring why my irrational I-just-like-this-stuff! reactions worked the way they did is hopefully edutainmentionaling... and having taken that whole trip, I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm 1. curious if you've noticed anything like that yourself or just think I'm out of my mind, and 2. wanting to reward you with praise for going in a direction I like!
