Me and a friend have done this before with a cardboard box, but we decided to flatten it first. It was probably still rather dangerous.

My laundry basket always tipped and flipped after a few steps and I'd tumble face first down the rest, luckily it was a straight carpeted stairway with nothing but soft carpeted floor at the bottom.

O my that looks like fun but at the same time its going to hurt. Now is it just me or does he look a little like the person in the picture in the hidden space under her floor board. I mean the person is wearing a military outfit in picture and her brother is wearing military clothing in this part of this comic. What this tells me is her brother is no longer alive anymore because of some militarily accident and she keeps his picture hidden under the floor boards for some reason. Adding onto most likely Star was in the military with him or she went into the military afterwards cause she respected him or was a way to remember him.

I remember riding down the stairs in laundry baskets when I was a kid.

Adorable if ill-advised. Glad her Mum is ever vigilant against unauthorized maneuvers taking place under their roof. The look on her face in the last panel is epic. TailsZelin's hypothesis though feels me with a sense of dread that something untoward has happened to her brother.

I used to have a little plastic sled that rolled up and would do this all the freaking time in the winter. I would open the front door wide prop open the screen door and go shooting down the stairs on my sled and try to get out the door...got quite a good spanking the one time i missed and hit the screen door XP

1.) I love and adore the bond that Matt and Star have.

2.) The expressions of Matt and Star are priceless. You, in a journal asked if there is anything to improve upon? Well if what is in this page is an indication of your best, than the answer is no, you are a wonderful and very talented artist. (there is always room for improvement, even if perfection is reached, always push yourself to be better :) )

3.) I have been in Matt's positions many, many, many times, so much trouble I got into when I was a little kitten/colt . . . teehee *blush*. Isn't it amazing that a parent ALWAYS knows when their little ones are up to no good, being naughty, even when they cannot see them being bad? *giggle*

One small critique, and this is hard because it may not even apply, but I think there's a bit of a break between the last page and this one. I think a small panel of Star sleeping with a thought bubble connecting it to the rest would make it a bit better. But, this is why it's hard for me to make this judgement because anyone who reads this comic from the start won't have any problem understanding. However, anyone who is reading it page by page might have a bit of a hard time understanding. Ultimately, you're writing your story for people to read it page by page, so again, this my not even apply.

I feel like I sound like jerk saying this because I love your work and I love your stories, but, even if these seem like minor points, I spot them out because I do like your work and I want to see you to improve!

Anyway, don't take anything I say too seriously. You do good work and everyone will enjoy it, regardless. These are just a few suggestions.
