Wow, been a while, no?
Got a wild hair up my ass and finally got around to finishing my long-overdue Jab (the Hammerhead) sprite I had collecting digital webs in my computer files.
Finally found a good enough HEAD to use from Dungeon Fighter. The legs come from Leatherhead (Turtles in Time) and the arms come from the boss Masa&Mune (Chrono Trigger).
Decided to put him in with my old Ripster sprite.
This was originally to be for this old spriting project of mine that dealt with all these cartoon animal heroes coming together to fight in a 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'-style battle.
For some strange reason, I have this nostalgic fondness for the Street Sharks. I was right on the cusp, age-wise when the first commercial came out. Sadly the cartoon that eventually came didn't quite live up to the pure awesomeness of the core concept. Tried too hard to be like Ninja Turtles.
So these sprite designs are meant to be more along the lines of the original toys than the cheesetastic cartoon.
Have no idea if I'll ever get around to doing sprites of the other two.
Hope they look good.

Nice, these are really cool. I'm kinda having a nostalgic trip for the Sharks myself.
It's so weird, despite having run for three seasons and having various sets of toys nobody ever made a Street Sharks video game. If this wasn't a concept that lent itself to a 4 player beat em up I don't know what would.
