100% photoshop, with a photo ref of Skye. Sorry its really small, I cant seem to find the original. This took almost 3 hours, no lineart, just painting. It was done in 2006, so Im sure I could do something like it in half the time now.... I did it all without saving once! I'd NEVER do that now.... that was when my computer was shiny and new LOL.
Skye is Clydesdale x Paint with blue eyes.

Wow! he lived a pretty long time :)
I got Skye when he was about 4 months old and did all the ground work with him but I just couldnt ride him. I was a total novice to horses and I bumbled and managed to learn my way threw the training.... but when it came to riding I was waaaaaay over my head. Then I had to move so I gave him to someone that knew what they were doing. He's a dessage horse now. He likes jumping I hear. I think when he turned 4 the woman I gave him to said he was 16.3ish and she was estimating that he would end up 17.1 when he was done growing.
I fell off him once and man.... thats one LOOOOONG way to fall lol

Oh my, yeah I had a tumble off another horse I had named Sunny and got some serious road rash on my face (no scarring thank goodness) and I busted both my knees (cuz I'm good like that XD). Dad gave him away a few months later when he tried to throw him off after he had been working with him for awhile and wasn't showing improvement. XP My Dad was real good at training horses, but I on the other hand was awful. :P I just don't have that calm dominent attitude that horse training requires. If they feel your scared, nervous, or peeved they'll walk all over you.
