Scrooge started as a bit of a joke character, but as the years went on, he got so much development!
Scrooge is stingy and greedy, and has a strong personality much like his nephew Donald, but at the end of the day, he cares about his family more than anything else, even if he may or may not be willing to admit it.

One of my favorite stories of course, is The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, by Don Rosa. As the name implies, it tells the story of his life, his humble beginnings, all of his struggles to try to get rich, and it really cements how much of a badass he is. No, really! I won't spoil anything, but you have no idea how amazing he is until you read this epic, it's kind of long, but totally worth it if you're a Scrooge fan :)

As for the drawing, even though I love DuckTales, I went with a color scheme more like the comics, because I grew up reading those more than I did watching DuckTales.
