lmfao i didn't brush my hair today ignore that

So I tried practicing with fabric and it didn't quite work..
So I saw on youtube that some people first make their outfits out of newspaper.
I've spend today making the base for the coat and I will cut it where the seams should be and then copy the pattern onto fabric practice!
I've yet to do the sleeves and the collar but I suspect the hardest part of the paper will be the collar.
For now, I have the base down u v u

So I got round to cutting my practice fabric u v u
I want to see how this goes before going out and buying some expensive stuff.
I'm going out tomorrow to see if my dad has a sewing machine I can use u v u
