ah so you dont shave your footpaws? also when you're sewing and giving seam allowance, how do you get the line where the actual patter falls to line up on both pieces of fur without having exactly the same seam allowance?

The sewing line (red) corresponds exactly the pattern shape. You can use more or less seam allowance, it´s up to You, the sewing tools and maybe the fur. By pinning the fur pieces together, both marked lines have to be superposed. After sewing, You can simple cut too much seam allowance.
