(Sigh...!) Fralinger's Salt Water Taffy... I hadn't tasted such in years. Over here in "La La Land" one has to order the treats through a catalog. I don't know if it's the water or something they use in their recipe, but I haven't found much here in CA that matches the texture and flavor of this treat. The Taffies from the confectioner's shop on Catalina Island came close.
