I agree, but aren't those three all examples of artists? www.pagesofscribbles.com redirects under tapastic.com, and it doesn't want to load (seems to be very slow currently).
In all technicalities, even dance and music are classed as art. However I define art generally as a digital or traditional drawing or painting. I do see your point though. But in the comic thus far I only have the three characters, and those are their individual hobbies, so that's the things I displayed.
And yes pagesofscribbles.com does send you to tapastic, yes it's slow, but I dont have anywhere else I upload them :)

Didn't want to upload them to an art site. I liked the look of the tapastic website and how easy it is to use, plus I wanted it on a webcomic hosting site. That and the ability to subscribe to the series (plus I read several series on that website already) appealed to me.
