To all my Canadian fuzzy butt friends: Happy Canada Day! This year marks the first year in a long time that I haven't played on our nation's birthday, so I had to get this out of me. Mind you, I never play this recklessly when I do it live, I could break a string/get punched for being a douchebag.
To all my American fuzzy butt friends: Pretend this is Jimi. It's in the same key and scale. Just get really drunk. If I hear enough complaints, maybe I'll lower myself to completely plagiarizing Mr Hendrix and doing the Star Spangled Banner.

That was probably the most interesting interpretation of 'O Canada!' I've ever heard. *blinks* The middle note in the third line ('True /patriot/ love') sounded wrong, though. Usually the three notes in the line sound as if they form the first part of a minor scale, but this doesn't sound like it. Aside from that, it's surprisingly Hendrix-like.
