If those are uh... Actually yours. Hell, even if they aren't and you just stuffed your suit's chest, fur-suits are still heat sponges.

I usually wear a cooling vest to counter the heat, I do agree it can get pretty hot at times.

I can't help but wonder if you could counter that by building well-insulated suit, that allows cooler air flow. It'd beat needing to lug a vest around, or remove the head.

Yeah, that would be really nice. I don't have a problem head wise (have a usb fan installed for constant air), the problem usually occurs when suiting in crazy hot temperatures (as in right now, in Japan)

Does the fan actually help? Ignoring the blistering temperatures thing, USB fans vary with their wattage outputs. I was always under the impression that beyond using a vest, or finding a well to insulate your suit, a fan would be a risk, especially if your suit is already using some form of electrical display.
