This is my Red panda setting himself up for Pirate month. I was absolutely STOKED to hear about this opening theme and thought that it'd be real good to start another art groove by doing this. Heehee, especially when I discovered that I can draw pretty okay when ignoring the TV in my lil' pod chair papasan wannabe. [I was 'watching' Nightwatch for those that are curious.]
Anyhow, I think I'm gonna call my new character Bae Joo-rin. Mmmhmm.

Finally! A submission from Opa, and it's adorable! *melts* Apart from being very, very high on the "cute-o-meter", Bae Joo-rin also appears to be very dashing, suave and charming!
It doesn't scream "pirate" to me, but it fits the theme without resorting to cliches.
