I often fiddle around with drawings to see what they'd look like on different adjustments and fiddlements. "False Black Eye" had very... interesting results. Despite the colors being darker and more "frightening," the expression seems kinder, much kinder. I immediately thought of Spiffy's song "Shelter Among Shadows." I thought it fitting to title this piece the same as his song.
