Okay yes he is a real dog somewhere in california but NOT TODAY.
Obviously you recognize who this is. Probably one of the sweetest human beings on the planet(It's because he's a dog),
dogbomb I had the pleasure of being introduced to dogbomb via beastcub while I was making handpaws for her a few years ago- and made a second, beer-resistant set for him and we've said hello occasionally ever since ;)
He wanted a more realistic head of his canine companion costumed character to add to the GROWING ARMY OF DISEMBODIED HEADS. MWAHAHAHA.
He wanted slightly oversized ears, so I made them poseable for all sorts of silly antics. I think he turned out rather well :D Tried a new gum method for more realistic gums. I couldn't quite bring myself to make full on jowels but I will be braver next time XD
Used a mask by
phazonalloy she sent me a while back, foamed up and detailed. Horsehair whiskers, taxidermy eyes and some other details I'm sure I've forgotten

Omfg I had to go in and alter this thing like three times- like rip out the goddamn eye, dremmel the socket all day and redo a quarter of the face and shit to get everything lined up because my eye for symmetry is NOT GOOD and my camera is AN UNFORGIVING CUNT lol. But it was worth it apparently XD

This came out amazingly! You captured the expression really well: It's very warm and friendly, and does not have that spaced out, taxidermy look. Those ears are really impressive (<3 wrinkles). You did a great job on the gums and I'm in love with all those little details in the markings!
Nah I colour matched the awesome body that

This was an experiment, it helped a lot that dogbomb was super leniant and pretty much gave my artistic freedom and a photo of his dog. Under those circumstances I could try to pull it off again, but you're welcome to peruse my gallery for more photos of canines I've done.
