Bio: Growing up in the Undercity streets, Torben unlike the more privileged Vorshadae in the Uppercity above had to learn early on in life that if he wants to protect those he loves then he will have to fight for it. His parents used to be part of high society but a rival Vorshadae seized an opportunity and usurped his father's company before Torben was even born.

For much of his young life Torben had lived a life that he often viewed as much more rich and meaningful than the the stick in the muds who live in the city above. he often felt right at home with Kabeetan and one fellow lower class Vorshadae. All that came to an end however when one day his father's past came back to haunt them in the form of a debt collector. Their rival had not fared so well in managing his finances and thus fled. His corpse was found two weeks later face down in a ditch. Thus the sizable debt fell on the former owners shoulders. Torben now being forced to face the cold hard reality of his life knew that his father would not be able to repay the debt so they reached a compromise wiht the collector. In an effort to repay the debt Torben opted to pay in his father's stead in small stippend payments. The collector agreed and the deal was signed.

Torben enlisted in the Military the next day under the agreement that if anything were to happen to him the debt on his father would be completely absolved. However in order for that to apply he had to make officer rank. A feat the debt collector figured would never happen as the upper-class Vorshadae would never allow lower class filth to sully the ranks of the privileged. Torben however took this as a challenge...
