Some find it amazing to see just one in 2014. I have 2 and a dead board. Only the computer on the top of the image works

Yes, same team. I think the Acorn Archimedes was the first system to have it. the BBC Micro also had the ability to add a second CPU making it kind of like a dual core system

What's wrong with the computer on the bottom, unless its the one that the board goes to?

Have you tried swapping chips to see what parts work on the 'dead' board?

Yes, tried all that. Getting a new refurbished system was easier than finding parts

I'll probably keep the two broken boards just in case I need some more parts.

*nods* i guess what i was wondering was: were you able to pre-screen the boards for bad parts? (e.g. if you swapped a rom chip in and it doesn't work.. pitch the bad rom chip?

Yeah, tried all that. None of it seemed to work.
