This is X... he had a name once but it was taken from him and he was cast out for being who he is.

His talent is that he can absorb and/or block out other ponies talents if they are within a few feet of him, roughly 50 - 100 feet. He lived in Canterlot about 1000 years ago around the time Luna turned against Celestia. He had wife back then and was happy for she was the only pony who didn't fear or treat him bad. She was also the only pony who's talent or ability wasn't affected by his, for she was a blank flank.

After Luna became Nightmare Moon and soon was Banished his powers started to grow without warning or reason. Because of this Celestia banished him and stripped him of his name and scarred his flank so he would never be able to come back to any pony city under her control. This sentence devastated his wife causing her to fall ill and pass away. Though she passed after he was exiled he still felt her leaving and he swore never to avenge her and his harsh judgement.

Though his heart is now broken and bitter towards all ponies, he has forgotten why he was exiled and his former name and life. His ability to absorb pony talent and some minor unicorn magic he has been able to survive for a thousand years alone and always moving never able to find peace.
