May you find peace in the afterlife my good friend your laughs memories and varies roles you played always made me laugh and were the reason i became an extravert today you taught me what it means to not care if you want to act silly and just go with it and have fun. R.I.P. Mr. Williams you shall go down in all our hearts a legend
Was so sad and so stunned to hear about his death and even more so after learning the details behind all of it. He really left behind one heck of a legacy and his legend will live on. I truly feel bad for all those he left behind. He truly was one of the greats and he will sorely be missed. Thank you Robin for all those memories.....Thank you
I've been telling this story today because it fits Robin's and many other comedians is the story of Pierrot the clown(he really was a real person) where he traveled all over making people laugh but he himself couldn't..... One day he went to a doctor to find out why using a fake name so nobody could know who he was..... When he asked the doctor if there was a way to make him laugh and the doctor told him there was one way...... Go see Pierrot The Clown, the doctor said...... He can make anybody laugh...... I guess the thing is anybody can make someone laugh but themselves......
rest in peace funny man , thanks for all the laughs and happy moments , tears and wonderfull memories , thanks for the theachings and for drag me out of my blues many times , we lost one of the most wonderful , talented and special person in the history of show bussines , he will be missed but he allways will live in our hearths .

People never consider just how damaging depression can be, until its too late... and yet... Society as a whole will never concern itself enough about depression to really make it a point of concern, which is depressing in of itself.
as a guy who know what its like to sink into the deepest of depressions for 8 solid years, and managed to climb out with the help of a friend here on FA, I know how devastating depression can be for the mind, so I sincerely sympathize.

The tears of a clown are most often shed when no one is around to see them. The demons within will exact their price again and again until there is nothing left. I pray his soul is finally at peace, the demons may have taken his life but never his spirit and the legacy of laughter he leaves behind is but a pale imitation of the man to be sure but it is all we have left and the memories of him will keep him alive at least in part in the hearts of all who know him in any capacity.
all his life what he wanted was to make us laugh and be entertained despite his depression. so what are we going to be, depressed? or say our goodbyes, honor him and what we've gotten from this brilliant talented enormously charming man, and get back to laughing as soon as possible. seems like an obvious choice to me. So thank you Genie, Thank you Batty, Thank You, Mrs. Doubtfire, Every morning in Vietnam was great, hell you even made for a decent robot. Thanks for the memories.
Such a beautiful tribute to a iconic human being! His physical being may be gone, but his spirit remains in each and everyone of us. My heart has grown heavy with hearing the news, but I will always have a place in my heart for him as well any many who have passed on.
