Hmm, I do not know...this ID badge seems a bit flashy for a place as hoity-toity as Aperture Laboratories.
Usually, an ID card is very basic, keeping all of the valid information as easy to read as possible. This card, although very fancy, might be a bit too 'busy' to serve as a proper ID badge for security forces.
...then again, that is my opinion; what's that worth?
