Oh I'm sorry you feel it was too close of a resemblance buscuit! I was not at all trying to copy you or anything


Lucy was just a plain yellow lab charecter I made up to resemble myself in real life. Her hair poof is a lighter cream because my hair is a really light/white blonde)

Also another big thing. On biscuits ref sheet, I noticed he has light patches/markings of fur on his paws and feet paws. Lucy however dose not/or should I say will not have them)

-Her tail is a lot skinnier and thinner then biscuts fluffy tail, and she also dosnt have the lighter color markings against her tail like biscuit has.


Aside from all of that... There are obvious markings people can distinguish off of a charecter so people could sorta copy right them (like your biscuit symbol)

Lucy is very plain... She has no markings at all. I fact I have scene two yellow Labrador fursonas who have the exact same facial structure and colored hair poof as ours.


Its like you can't really put a copyright on someone who has an orange fox fursona ... Because it's based off the original species and there are so many others who have the same look.


What makes Lucy different from
Buscuit. Is that she will be wearing a black beatles tank top and shorts even when fursuiting... And I'm thinking about giving her a blue collar (my favorite color)

Here's one for example.
Now see... I could say she looks exactly like Lucy. Only difference is the tail.

But there's literally tons of yellow/golden retriver fursonas... And some are bound to have similarities such as hair poofs, possibly other body markings.

But what makes buscuit special is his eye marking and red name bandana. Not to mention buscuit has a bit of a darker tone fur and technically his ears and tails have longer fur length (making him more of a golden retiver then Labrador)

So that's just getting technical with it.




Aside from all that... I hope all negativity can go to the side. I love your fursuit make by autumn fallings btw! Your adorable :)

I wasnt trying to be negative about it. I felt it was pretty similar and I asked some friends about it and talked it over. And theyre right. with such a simple design for my character a regular lab or golden retriever is going to look fairly similar. Im sorry for any stress that comment caused you and i really hope it didnt cause you much or any at all. you can hide or remove that comment if youd like. Lucy is a cute character and I cant wait to see you finish her. *hugs*

Oh Hun it's totally fine! No harm done at all... It happens :) sometimes species just end up having similar colors and whatnot, so I totally understand why she must have caught your attention.


Anyways thanks so much for the watch and compliment! I'm currently working on having her tail, feet, and paws done. (technically her paws are finished... But I'll post another pic of her when her full partial is complete)
