I have been working on not using hard lines and just painting . so what do you think ?

I think both are pretty fantastic, but if I had to pick just one, I'd say Panda Girl. Mainly because I really enjoy the texturing on the ears. Makes em look nice and fluffy. And it looks like there might have been a little bit of the original sketch still left on that one, so it helps bring some definition to everything.
One thing that you might test out, is take the line work in either the sketch, or if you wanted to complete some lines, is take the opacity down just a bit, to right around 75 to 85 percent, and then change the layer to a multiply layer. I've heard it does amazing things to make the lines less, well, obvious lines. I haven't tested it out myself but I"ll let you know how that goes XD

What happened was with the Panda girl i shaded everything grey-scale and then made a new overlay layer and colored everything and fixed lines and added more highlights and shading .
For the fox i colored each color layer individually and shaded and colored each layer . by itself trying to refine everything
But the catch is i never used any lines except for my refined sketches but i took the opacity down to like 20% BUT i blurred it a bit and erased some on the fox . the panda girl i just worked around it and left it as is .
So im thinking perhaps i could do what i did with the fox because i love vibrant colors but take my shading fluffy thing i did with panda girls ears and apply it to anything furry ?
