From bees, maybe, if you're allergic.
But I'm telling you, you're not going to die from a house centipede. And even if one bit you, it'd be because you're touching it. Normally they're very skittish creatures and run and hide at the sight of humans.

They can't actually hurt you, but they like to drop from the ceiling onto people sleeping. I'm not even joking.

As the others have said, tis a house centipede, harmless though can scare the living hell out of you as they can crawl on ceiling and can/will fall right on top of you when you walk under them. Fairly easy to get rid of though.

I find giving all the rooms you've seen them in a good washing with bleach, the smell seems to drive them away from what I seen.

That reminds me of that time a centipede crawled down my neck ;~; It somehow came with me inside and I didn't notice it before I felt something crawling down my neck. And I who thought it was just my brain playing tricks on me t-t I shat bricks when I saw it on my t-shirt!
