yup, the good old M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR). It was actually developed and used during the last little bit of WW1, then it floated around a bit and saw use in organized crime and police use. Clyde Barrow had a sawed off BAR. And the army continued using them through to the early days of Vietnam. Being 30-06 machine guns though they are typically hard to come by and a lot of paperwork trouble to own/buy/fire and whatnot. Stupid anti-machine gun laws :P
