I was having a crummy day so I drew this to get the stress out. I may finish it or I may not. I haven't decided, but I liked the contrast here.

If it was anyone BESIDES uuummm.....
(did we decide on a name for him or is "AAAHHHHGH!" his official name?)
....him, then I'd have to agree with Velantian; looks like nobody's been home there for a while.
Boo for stressed out, but yay for art!
Still amazed by the level of detailing you put into your work.

He doesn't really have a name because, even by the off chance that someone cared enough to give him a name, he would most likely forget it in five minutes. On the other hand, he could probably tell you the names of the two things in his head/neck.
I've always been amused when people call him Augh and I really love how that nickname has kind of stuck. Though I've also always though of him as a Seth because it's such a squishy sounding name. (I mean no offense to anyone out there named Seth. It's a nice name, but it's almost like I can't say it without hissing.)
Really though, him having a name seems so unnatural to me.

I haven't really settled on one story for him, but it's actually more fun that way. I have an idea for a short comic (10 pages or less) that takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, but I don't always think of him as existing in that setting, if that makes any sense.
One thing that stays the same no matter what universe he's in, the two tentacled growths on his neck are more self-aware than he is. They're actually kind of like puppetmasters, and they're the reason he acts the way he does, forgets things and that he is constantly happy. These three can't live without each other and they share pain, so it's beneficial for them to keep their host happy, even if that happiness is a manipulated emotion.

I think my biggest fear as an artist and thing I really try to avoid in my art is having static characters that just stand or sit or do nothing. Sometimes I do fear that my art and poses can be stale, but drawing with a story or purpose in mind really helps me, I think.
