I don't think I could love Smith as much as Tennant, mainly because Tennant was just... Brilliant. My first Doctor was Eccleston, and while he was great, he wasn't around long enough for me to really form that love for him that I did for Tennant. But because of the Vincent episode, I got a lot of respect for Smith. He's no Tennant, but he's still pretty amazing. Tennants sort of high up on my Who rating XD
Oh yeah. I think a lot of people had that impression, mainly because we'd gotten so much bonding time with Tennant, and then this Smith guy takes over and it's like, what the hell?!??!?!?!? I know I boycotted for a number of years before I learned the error of my ways. XD

Right?!?!?! I love his emotional range. Though I gotta say, I'm a big fan of how Smith does his. Like, you can still tell when he's pissed off, but it's more internal, more damaging... I love it. Either that or it's just like "Fuck you guys, I'm tired and too old for this bullshit"
Oh yeah. With the teasers they released, I'm definitely interested in seeing the dynamic between Doctor and companion shift back to a true companion relationship, rather than what it's seemed like of trying to force the romantic comedy down our throats. I mean nothing wrong with it. It just happens more when there's a younger actor playing the Doctor.
