So I went to a Transgender Game Night in Boulder, Colorado and some of the transwoman there decided to give me a makeover for fun! :3
It all began with my curiosity about how my look should be without bias or preference and works naturally with me.
I was so impressed with their work, I decided to make it my mission to achieve this look all on my own and improve on it! :3
I'm one step closer toward passing! :3
Yes, I am transgendered for those that aren't aware :3
Edit: How did I go beyond 90 views?

Thank you! :3
Before I even allowed myself to put makeup on, I first researched and studied makeup and tips before I dared to put any on.
It took me nearly two months to understand makeup from almost nothing!
But yes, playing with makeup has a lot to do with how particular features stand out or show up, it really depends on the person :3
I recommend watching YouTube tutorials and plenty of "dos and donts" online.
However, my difference is that I am going from male to female as a transgendered woman, I am not sure what you are and it may be totally different for you :P

Heh, I'm just a weirdo who likes to look pretty and wear all things overly cute. So I'm not transgender :)
But I shall remember your advice the next time I try some makeup! I'd love to learn how to do pretty eye makeup that would look good with my poodle hood ^^

I recommend looking at yourself in a different view to be honest.
The goal is to understand what you look like, not what you "think" you look like.
Simply thinking you will look good in something may be different from what really works with you.
To this day, even after close to 2 and a half months of studying, researching and practicing, I still haven't found the perfect look yet.
I'm no-where near as good as those who have been doing it their entire lives, so I leave it up to professionals and not friends because they only care about pleasing you.
Professionals or those who don't know you want your money and aren't biased to you, I recommend someone who knows what they are doing :3
I've gone as far as asking questions, watching and practicing what professionals do so I can achieve the look myself.
My knowledge of hairstyling and hair-care before I even did this was horrible and I did a lot of research and now I get compliments on how good my hair looks both in quality and texture.
Personally, I had to tell every hairstylist, eyebrow specialist, beauty adviser at Walgreens and many other places that I am purely doing this to achieve a natural female look.
If you give people the wrong information or have friends do it, they just want you to feel good about yourself so they don't have to worry about coming off as mean or harsh.
Be honest, this is your life.
Avoid family, friends and anyone close to you like the PLAGUE, trust me because I have had some people do it wrong or have had differing opinions and criticism from other people's work.
One time, I had my best friend do my hair and I had some pretty bad compliments, I even styled my own hair the way I wanted it for years and I still had complaints about it.
I let a professional hairstylist do what I thought I wanted or what works for me and they did a great job on it including interpreting what I may have wanted.
Make sure the person who helps you is good at what they do but do not know you, having a business or consumer relationship with a professional is your best bet.
Remember, first impressions count and you don't want someone to mess up the first time.
On my own time and out of my own pocket, I pay hairstylists, cosmetics experts, skin care experts and anything related to beauty as well as the small things to get that beautiful look.
Makeup alone won't get you anywhere, it has to do with your face as the canvas, otherwise you are better off not doing it :P
And if you plan to do this your entire life, make sure the field of Beauty is added to your artistic skill set.
I've already committed myself to learn makeup, hairstyling, skin care and other things as a sort of expert hobby, not professional but good enough to know what to do and apply it.

Its actually in a mostly gay district and hosted by a transwoman, though I won't reveal her name for privacy and protection.
