Here is my golden jackal 'sona Auric (in the center) looking awkward standing between a cartoon version of the artist Ashe Skyler on the far left and her wolf Kurach character Shanku Ravenwing (on the right). A comparison study of their head shapes is on the far right. Shanku is acting like a critic and 'reminding' her artist about details like height difference; Ashe did this sketch after noticing that Auric and Shanku were the same height in the previous sketch.

This lighthearted character study was done in a brief intermission during of a series of sketches of Auric and Shanku dressed in different styles of clothing, where Ashe paused to do a study of the two characters together to help highlight their differences such as height, build, and head shape. Shanku is a raven-winged wolf shapeshifter who is the main character of the webcomic Just Another Day.

The artwork is by Ashe Skyler and is part of a large sketch sheet that will be posted individually so that they're easier to see. These sketches resulted in the fancier Auric Chibi drawings that can be seen at Ashe Skyler's Deviant Art account
