Third in a series of 7.
A few steps further, and Tina is in deep enough to have to pull hard to overcome the mud's suction on each step. Never mind her expression though, she's getting a substantial thrill out of this. And she still hasn't gotten any mud inside the shoes yet. That's got to add to her pleasure.
So far, the hardest part of these pics has proven to be coloring the mud and the footprints she's leaving in it. The pencils and inks for the whole series was done in September '04, but I only decided to go ahead with completing and posting them shortly before the first was posted.

If I remember correctly, it was a combination of light and dark noise applied to a brown fill, with a little gaussian blur applied. and almost no Photoshopese involved.
The comic I'm working on is going to give me a whole lot of practice doing mud textures, some 28 pages of slop :)

Well, I was just browsing for some nice-looking artwork on this really cool site when I found pages of your comic featuring Tina. I decided to check out your work when I found the comic story "A Curiously Filthy Story", which I though was really nice (especially with the kind of outfit she was seen wearing throughout the story, since I am actually a sucker for cute gals in outfits that include long white socks). :)
