Daragon: Chapter 3 - Broken Jaw (part 2)
"I don't believe he's the one you're telling me he is! My mate died thousand of years ago in a great battle against our enemy. There is no way this one can be him" the female said, looking at the male before her. "He is him, I can promise you that." Siriky said looking at the female. Her two children stood nearby, listening as the older hybrids spoke to each other. "Let's go back inside children." she said walking back to the cave entry. "Traziki! Traziki, come now! I won't tell you twice" she yelled. The male opened his eyes looking at her as he turned his head towards her. "Traziki...?" he whispered softly looking at the child before him. "I remember something...some where... long ago..." he started. The female stopped dead in her track as she looked back at him and asked: "And from where do you remember that name?" The male closed his eyes for a short while, ignoring the pain in his head and said: "Long ago a hatchling was named that... They said it was defected, that it was not meant to live. Even so it's mother took care of it, but something happened and the little one had to grow up on its own." She turned around as she asked:"What happened?"
"Something really bad. Many rumors was told bout something. But the truth was never told. Years later the hatchling grow up to become a great warrior in the tribe, got a mate years later." he said. "That tells me nothing. Traziki, Trezak, let's go!" Her name came from something, lot of eggs were lost that year." His words got her to stop once more as she looked at him. "Thunderstorm, no... Thund, Tunderas, Tunde-" he started when she cut him off and said: "Thunderaz..?" He looked at her now and she almost noticed something in his eye for a second. Suddenly pain striked at him in his head and he swinged his head into the closest rock he saw before hitting it hard. Everyone starred at him as he did that, unsure what to do. As he held his head there for a while blood slowly started to flow down onto the ground. "It reminds me bout something, a great war. Pain and fear everywhere. Dead bodies... The smell of blood in the air. The pain won't leave me alone, the memories... gone in a fog long forgotten. Darkness all around, panic and fear. Two round things in a nest. Name one... A promise... broken...Death all around... Run, escape Alone, defeated, dying, then... Death and darkness."
They all just looked at him for a while. "A name, a promise... death?" she thought, looking at him. Pressing his head against the rock he felt a bit better as he calmed down. Slowly he returned back to a more normal state as they looked at him, blood still dripping from his head. "Broken Jaw?" she said low. But he didn't move, nor did he look at her. It was like he was no longer there, the glint she had seen in his eye was gone, still she was not done "Traziki?" she said once, not knowing if it would work or not. Still he did nothing. Again she tried as she said: "Traziki! That's your name isn't it!? Answer me, Traziki, Traziki, Traziki!" As she said it more then once his eyes snapped open and he looked at her and said "I don't know who I am anymore. all memorys are lost somewhere... Can't find myself in the darkness anymore. It hurts to think." As she looked into his eyes she saw something, a young elemental hybrid, trapped in darkness. Unable to escape the shadow as all around, it wanted nothing more then to get back into the light where it was safe to be.
