Oh, I got the parts. But when FALS are Californicated like this, they saw off the pistol grip part, for one thing. You have to rebuild the rifle to get it back to original condition. It's usually cheaper and/or easier to just buy an un-vandalized FAL. NICE JOB, California!

I can't remember how I did mine, but they were metric pattern, looking closer yours is an inch pattern.

I did fire the .50 Hawken muzzle-stuffer. And the LeMat. I need to get a better brand of caps, there were like 3-4 duds. Good thing I brought a box of caps with me.

Both. And it doesn't take shells, it's a muzzle-loader.

Thank you, Karno, for reminding me that, as Summer in new England draws to a close, I need to take a day and get my @$$ to the range. It's far too long since I shot anything heavier than a plastic-BB pistol. I have a couple of .41 Magnums I want to blast, and several prospective pocket pieces that need breaking in. Likewise my twin Kimber 1911s in 10mm and .38 Super. September brings my Autumn vacation, and I'll probably head down to a public range that lets one shoot all day (weekdays) for around $20. My biggest concern is ammo -- but I'm overstocked from before the Crisis and I reload most of the calibers I shoot. Yeah, it's time...
