ugh, i love this person's character design... every time i see her i just internally sob at how adorable it is! lovely work, strawbs, really! the pose seems so leisurely and relaxed, no stiffness... she really just looks /comfy/. i love that the color scheme is so largely purple, but you've utilized so many different shades that it isn't jarring. i'm just a bit curious, though, as to why you hadn't shaded the floor? was it just to have the objects in the piece "pop" more?

The floor is shaded. Just with soft edges rather then hard. I often find walls and floors shaded hard ends up too busy looking.

ahhh, my apologies! i had a screen tinting program running the first time i saw the piece! i see the shading clearly now, and i understand what you mean about 'busy' with further cell-shading. great work, and thanks for the clarification!
