I asked if Fred would be interested in an art trade with me a couple days ago, and this delightful image was a result.

It wasn't too long ago that I started posting my work up here, and Fred was one of the reasons I kept it up. His comments and a piece of fanart he did for me of little Ober meant so much to me… I don't think I would have gone on without the encouragement he, and so many others have given me these last few years.

Creating Ober as an outlet to show the bits of my life, many of which have been incredibly painful and/ or embarrassing has been of major importance to me. I don't know how I could have made it through so many times…

Eventually, I gave Ober a life of his own, and with it, a companion: Matilda- the loving, tragic would be kangaroo mum who decided that she wanted Ober all to herself, even though they have had quite a rocky first night together!
