the city on catalina island off of California; I may have misspelled it. Some of the best snorkeling I've ever experienced; I kneeled on the floor to look up, and the kelp was like the walls of a cathedral with sunlight dappling through, seals darting in and out of them like fairies or ghosts, and then one paused to eye me for jut a second before going back to hunting his dinner. it was incredible:)
