A thing that bothers me a lot!
Left: How I learned to draw from anatomy books, tutorial and references!
Right: How a lot of great artists draw it!
The way the flexor muscles of the forearm are drawn.
This is one of the many reasons why I don't think I'm good at drawing proper anatomy, why my art isn't any good. It really frustrates me a lot.
A lot of great artists on FA and some other sites draw it like the right one. I'm assured that they know a lot more about drawing proper anatomy than I do.
It means I'm the one drawing it wrong, but how does it even work like that.
This is also what keeps me away from doing commissions even though I really want to, mainly as a confidence boost.

You know? maybe YOU are the one that draws it the right way and most of the other artists do not? Have you ever thought about that? ^^
Plus: You should try to not compare your own arts to other peoples and just focus on what YOU think is how it should look like. ^^
Really, you are a great artist and even though your style differs from that of others, you should always stay true to it and be proud you can draw what many people could only wish to draw. ^w^

I have to agree with Kosmo above, frankly alot of artists leave anatomy at the door when they draw, most folks don't pay alot of attention to the details hell I've cheated few times on anatomy because my concern is as a rule more about WHAT LOOKS GOOD rather then IS IT REALISTIC. Find your own guideline and stick to it. That's what I say. You are damn good btw.
I wouldn't really believe that but slowly I do see that it's possible. There's general anatomical details they all do well but I guess they're not all perfectionists like me that need to draw every anatomical detail correct, understand why it looks like that. I guess I should practice anatomy more from books and photo references than other's art... mabe
Oh and thanks.
