Something new I'm offering. The centerpiece is an ancient piece of sea glass which washed up on the shore of Bermuda, most likely a remnant left over from a sunken ship from around the time of Shakespeare's life. My mother and I collect scores of these beautiful things whenever her or I visit Bermuda. It's like holding a piece of human history in your hand. Not to mention the effects that the sea has had on it over the course of hundreds and hundreds of years is absolutely stunning.
Each piece of sea glass is a little different and completely unique. This one was from a green bottle that shattered when the ship sank. Over the years, the glass becomes less and less translucent and the color slowly fades into this amazingly gorgeous teal color that you see. Some are more green, some are more blue, some are almost brown. The darker and cloudier the glass, the longer its been in the water. I also have pieces of pottery, and some partially melted glass which came from a ship that was likely sunk as a result of a fire.
It's not pictured very well here, but the vial contains the iconic pink sand for which Bermuda is so well known. :3 The sand is pink because of, believe it or not, Parrot Fish! They eat coral, which breaks into tiny little pieces and mixes in with the sand, making it appear pink! I couldn't get a good picture, but I will get a better one when I have the time to better showcase the beautiful colors in the sand.
Both the sea glass and the sand were picked by hand out of the seas of Bermuda by either myself of my mother. None of them are store-bought.
I offer these as keychains, pendants, or earrings! Prices vary depending on size of the piece. But the base prices are as follows:
Keychains - Approx. $15
Pendants - Approx. $20
Earrings - Approx. $25
+$3 with each vial of sand.
Note me with questions or comment below if you're interested in purchasing your own! Thanks for looking! :) <3

How often do you visit Bermuda? I,
cyrixbandekrom, and
moonblossom all live here in Bermuda and work at the Glassblowing Studio in the Royal Naval Dockyard. It's always nice to know of or meet visiting furs to our island home ^_^

Whaaaat?!! Omg no way!! OuO That's so fucking awesome dude!! Wow! I know exactly where you're referring to! My parents go usually once or twice a year, but I not quite as often unfortunately. ;__; BUT I will be back again next summer! I'd definitely love to meet ya'll while I'm there! :3
Awesome! I'll be sure to ask for ya when I get there! :3 I'll be in for a wedding sometime next summer, but not sure exactly when. I'm thinking it's August? But I could be wrong. I'll let you know for sure when I find out! Always a pleasure to meet my fellow murries. X3
Awww no I don't think I saw you there. ;0; I hardly spent any time in the zoo this year. I spent almost the entire time that I wasn't in our room either at Huskie's table in the dealer's den (sharing the worlds tiniest space lol) or out front of the lobby smoking cigarettes with a hoard of my beloved furfags. :p Haha!
