And since we need something to 'wash down' all of the savory goodies, a rather cooling recipe from
again :B
yeah you heard me right. you a kingdom hearts fan??
CHECK THIS OUT!
make either a large tub, or put them in popsicle molds. im partial to the bowl o icecream myself.
what you need:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- blue and green food dye
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of milk
- a pot
- 1-2 tbsp of seasalt (start with one, and see if you like the taste. i like mine more salty so i use more)
pour your milk in on slightly above medium. you want it hot but not boil. while its doing that beat your eggs and sugar together in a separate bowl.
once your milk is hot, pour in the egg/sugar mixture. use a WOODEN SPOON and stir constantly. you dont want to leave it alone else you will get burnt bits on the bottom. and nobody wants black bits in their icecream.
once it has the consistency of thin pudding, take it off the heat and refrigerate it till its about room temp.
now add all the other ingredients and stir well. for that seafoam green color you wanna do 20 drops of blue, and 4 green
mix, put it in the freezer and give it some hours to freeze. can take a whole day, but its WORTH IT
(also. its SUPER flavorful. you may be tempted to get a whole heap of it, but seriously. so much sugar and salt, a small portion will do it! too much and you will get a headache lol)
