Finished reference sheet for SaWolf, of his maned wolf character Samael 9 years older than in his original reference sheet by WhiteMantis, which is here - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4388241/ Samael has been through quite a lot since then, and his disposition and appearance has changed a lot as a result. This was a pretty tough reference sheet to make because drawing firearms is a weakness of mine. But if I have a direct reference like I did for these, then I do ok. This piece was also a special case compared to my usual commissions, in which I transferred the copyright of the resulting image to SaWolf. Thus the different watermark at the bottom there. It's fun to see all his items and accoutrements together after taking so long to draw them all too, like little collected game items! ^^
This Friday I will be open for new commissions beginning at 3:30pm Mountain Time! They will be completed the following week live via my Tigerdile channel. I'll be posting a visual submission instead of a journal, so keep an eye out for that! Prices and policies can be found here - http://shadow-wolf.deviantart.com/j.....ions-357872935

The wording, guys. The wording.
"However, since he is right-handed he is still a very skilled marksman."
It's a continuation of the subject, therefor the paragraph ends with informing you that regardless of his muscle tremors and injuries, he shoots with his right hand, not his left, so his left hand doesn't affect his marksmanship.

I love this character, and the reference sheet is so clean without being cluttered and his design is straight-forward. ( I adore those earthy tones.~)
My only question is, is he a hired gun? A militant? The description of him doesn't touch on his love of archaeology in the slightest, or well, anything to do with it. It's just confusing. ^^;

Perhaps, though Indiana Jones is more of a treasure hunter/tomb raider than an archaeologist. Not to mention it'd be pretty hard to run while carrying something like a miniature arsenal.
A sniper rifle is definitely not a weapon you'd have simply for self-defense at an archaeological site. It feels more like something you'd bring if someone hired you to kill a raider or possible people muscling in on your 'find'.
Ahh, well. Someone will probably tell me I'm reading too much into it. I just stop to think when something isn't explained well or makes little sense to me.
Either way, he's still a cool character.~ I'd love to see the creator/owner add more to him, as characters with stories are always a pleasure to read about. Especially one with a background as shady as his.

+1 on the comments of this being an uncluttered ref sheet. Too many of them are. The details on everything though are fantastic. I'm not a gun fanatic or anything, but I also would like to commend you on how well you drew the weapons in this sheet. They don't look overly generic like so many artists' depictions of them do, such that I can actually tell what kinds they are, or at least what makes and models you used for references. Very well done!
(What I'm saying is, someone should commission you for Leena's Gun Sniper one of these days: http://pork-cow.deviantart.com/art/.....cial-213222987 http://flutterflyraptor.deviantart......eted-375150770 )
