I haven't been on in a while and I normally post on my rescue page but I am so proud.
Jude, a two year old embden gander, was surrendered to me by a very nice woman who didn't know what was wrong with him. I took him to my local vet and found he had joint infection along with some serious bumblefoot, on my birthday I found out from a couple friend about the bumblefoot surgery, and when they need it and how it's preformed. I did the surgery and he did very well he had pain meds and right now is watching his favorite movie, Mulan, in his bed. He has had a stressful day but he already seems to be doing better. The joint infection has been gone for a while but finally I can get rid of the rest of the hurts on his poor feet. Great job baby boy, you basically have made it.

I need a little help, he thinks I'm his mate and refuses anyone else, he always wants to be with me, but I can't love him and talk to him and satisfy him the way another goose can and he needs you know? How do I break him of me, and get him going in a real relationship?
He doesn't try to mate with me, and he is a loner when it comes to the other four geese and he always waits at the door to the coop for me and he cries whenever he sees or hears me because he wants to be with me and hang out with me, the other geese don't pay too much attention to him but hide behind him when they feel threatened, he is the only goose I have that nibbles, and he cries and throws a little tantrum if he has to sleep with the others, and sometimes he refuses to go to bed until he is on the bed with me, he has plenty of bit diapers for inside but he loves sleeping with me and watching movies, he watched Mulan last night because he had a stressful day, it may be my fault for spoiling him so much, because I love him dearly,
