As has been rightly pointed out, and I'm sure many of you know: This is to raise funds for the ALS charity. ALS is an illness affecting your nerves, and you can donate or find out more about what this is all about here: http://www.alsa.org/donate/
The challenge rules: If you don't dump a bucket of ice on yourself within the 24 hours, you gotta donate $100 to support finding a cure for ALS, if you DO dump the bucket on your head, you only have to donate $10
I feel like there should be some artists tagged in this, but my network in the furry world is slim, so I think you guys should spread the word :) Tag people, especially artists, you can use the image for that if you want to, and then maybe they can offer commissions and donate some of it. Lots of fun to be had with it, so do spread this :)

I am having the thought, that if the point of this is to raise money for ALS treatment and studies... a good way to do that would be to offer Ice Bucket Challenge commissions, and donate the money to the ALSA. I may try it, depends on how well my own picture goes.

Lol. I know a lot of people, including myself, who did the ice bucket challenge, but still donated $100 anyways. It's for a good cause. ALS is such a cruel illness.
Agreed, it is a horrible disease that affects about 30,000 people in the US, but because it is such a low number the big pharmaceutical companies don't want to spend the millions it will take to find a cure because even if they could wipe it out, there isn't a lot of profit for only 30k people, so it is left to private donations and grants.
