She is a qt!

May I ask how you keep her fur so short? Mine is a puffball and will not let me use a Furminator on her.

Thanks! :3 she is a short coat shiba. aka a mutant. lol she doesn't have the plush coat even though both her parents did. She sheds all the time and I use 3 different brushes on her lol

I bought the furminator since I heard it was one of the best but she hates it. She's a bit more tolerant to the Safari brush.

I own one myself and I use it on my cat and dog lol. My shiba hated the toothed rake (the oval one you use on horses as well) its the best for short coats but she hated the metal sound against her fur until I treated her enough and did little brushings at a time. Now she loves It! The furminator is a great brush, literally just use it on your shibe for 5 seconds a day. And slowly increase the time and treat after each use

No problem your shiba will get used to it eventually as long as you start out slow
