Isabella had no desire to dance, and yet, something about this moment compelled her to. The golden stallion was unlike the young colts in on the farm; he had a grace and wisdom about him that was probably due to his age. There she stood, on the far side of the pasture, grazing peacefully and forcing herself to ignore the beckonings of colts. But she could not control her bodies reaction to the two-beat rhythm of Ronaz, as he danced along the fence line. For three days he courted her, and for three days she ignored him. On the fourth day however, she gave in...and danced.
