Chapter 2: Warnings
Drajua, A little charming village full of peace in the Valion Kingdoms and home to Alexander. An usual stop for travelers and adventurers on their journey throughout Purgatory. Today was no ordinary day, you could see the villagers moving busy around preparing for the Moon Festival. Banners and flowers decorating the buildings and stalls with exotic elaborated foods being prepared for those who would visit the little village during the festivities.
As Alexander walked the busy streets of the village, an elder canine walked up to him.
“No luck in getting Rednaxela today Alex?” The canine asked Alexander a bit cheerfully.
Alexander shook his head and sighed “No, he got away again.” He said sadly, slouching a bit.
The old canine chuckled and patted his shoulder reassuringly. “Don’t worry about it kiddo, I’m sure you’ll get him some day. Just try not to get hurt to much. We wouldn’t want her throwing a fit.” The old canine said, shuddering a little before returning to what he was doing.
“Yeah…” He answered softly and went on his way.
As he walked down the streets many people began to greet him. “Welcome back Alexander!” “I hope you’re okay after that.” is what they mostly said to him as he passed by them. A large mansion sat at the center of the town, Alexander’s to be exact.
“Man, what am I going to tell her when she sees this?” Asked himself out loud as he looked down at his right auto-mail arm and bit his lower lip in worry. The arm was torn to shreds and in heavy disrepair after the fight with Rednaxela. Not to mention the bloodstains from Radnalexa and himself.
When he finally reached his mansion, he pulled out a key from his pocket and unlocked the door, stepping inside and closing the door behind him as he pocketed the key again letting out a sigh. “Elizabeth! I’m home.” Said, as he began to walk upstairs.
Out of no where a gray female wolf drop kicked Alexander, making him grunt out in pain and shock before he fell to the floor, rubbing his head whining. “I told you not to screw up your auto-mail again!” The female wolf yelled. She was was dressed in what seemed like a pirate’s outfit with a baseball cap on backwards, hands on her hips. Looking up, Alexander stared at the female wolf before getting to his feet.
“Sorry Elizabeth, Rednaxela came by again in the fields and attacked me.” He said while trying to avoid her eye contact.
Without warning, Elizabeth struck him again, this time with a wrench over his head.
“Idiot! That took me several weeks to repair the last time you damaged it!” She yelled, pressing her nose against Alexander’s.
“Well maybe if you made it stronger it wouldn’t get damaged!” He shouted back and snarled.
“Furball” Elizabeth said and turned her back, crossing her arms. Alexander groaned and rolled his eyes before hugging Elizabeth.
“At least I’m still alive.” He said to her softly, making Elizabeth sigh and return the hug.
“Yeah I know dad.” She said before breaking the hug.
Alexander began to climb the stairs now before Elizabeth called out to him.
“Dad, there’s someone named Ethan waiting for you in your study.” She said walking off.
He raised a brow curiously and continued to climb the stairs, making his way to his study. ‘Who is this Ethan?’ He thought to himself, more concerned than curious. ‘I feel as if, I should know the name well.’ He went on his thoughts until he reached the door that led the study.
He opened the door, stepping inside and just like before, someone was already inside the room waiting. A young looking wolf stood inside the with snow white fur and grey eyes. He wore a grey hooded robe and stared at Alexander with no clear expression on his face.
“Its about time you arrived, Ser Alexander.” The wolf said, his voice sounding very old.
Alexander silently closed the door behind himself and cautiously walked to his desk, keeping his eyes on the wolf at all times.
“You’re Ethan I take it? What business do you have with me?” He questioned, sitting down in the chair behind the desk, his fingers tapping nervously.
The wolf’s eyes glanced at the tapping fingers and he grumbled. “No need to be nervous,Ser Alexander. I’m not here to kill you.” His words seemed to slightly relax Alexander.
Alexander laid back in his chair, sighing before sitting up right again and lean on his desk, hands together and intertwined fingers.
“Then, why are you here Ethan?” He asked slowly, picking his words carefully.
Ethan moved his hand to grab something from his robe, pulling out an old leather tome bound in what seemed like skin, locked with a buckle.
“What do you know about the ‘Returning Prophecy’?” Ethan asked, raising a brow and stroking his chin.
Alexander leaned back into his chair again and put his hands on his stomach.
“Not much, just that someone will restore the Selenveen family to its former glory.” Answered. Ethan nodded and picked the tome up, unbuckling it and flipping a few pages through it. “That is correct but not entirely right my dear boy. The prophecy states that the one who will bring the Selenveens back, will lead a great war against the Deconstructors, a final war that will decide the fate of Creation for eternity.” Ethan replied, continuing to flip pages in the tome.
Alexander almost instantly got to his feet and slammed his hand on his desk. “What?! They’re returning!? But I thought the Selenveens defeated them back when they were at their full power.” Alexander said in shock and disbelief. Ethan sighed and put the tome down and put his hands behind his back.
“That is not true my dear boy. They were only able to banish them for a short while, they are indeed returning.” Ethan said with a serious tone.
Alexander dropped back into his seat and sighed, rubbing his eyes stressfully.
“How long til they return?”Alexander asked, looking at Ethan now with a frown.
“Nine months.” Ethan said flatly. “Nine months until Creation’s destruction unless someone can stop them.” Ethan went on, moving to look out of the nearby window.
“I’ll stop them then.” Alexander said, heading towards the door.
“Wait!” Ethan called, stopping him in his tracks.
“You cannot defeat them alone my dear boy. You need an army, not just of mortal men and women, but an army of immortal beings, gods and goddesses, heroes of all kinds.- Ethan said, walking towards Alexander slowly.
“There are seven potential allies and factions you should seek out if you wish to build this army. The first are Forgotten Ones in the Zeltherion Desert, in the ruins of Krail. The second are the elves of Enubian, in the Pentorian Forest. The third are the Old Gods, specifically the Old God Nakar and the Old God Kaynin, both of which can be found in the Citadel of Darkness.
The fourth is Helena, last druid in Creation, located in the Crelaion Woods.
The fifth is Maxwell, located not to far from here in Jazda. The sixth is of course Kilana, your guardian, as well as Valixai. The final is someone you probably know well.
King Nathlalon of Purgatory.” Ethan finished, now standing right in front of Alexander.
“I implore you, seek them out and convince them to fight with you.” Ethan said softly.
Alexander looked at him for a moment before nodding. “I will. Thank you for the information Eth-”
He was stopped tried to look at Ethan again only to find himself alone.
‘I didn’t even hear him leave.’ Alexander thought, in a bit of dismay.
“What….is he?” Asked himself before walking out of the study.

This chapter is very good, but there are some minor wording issues a few times where you use too many words
