From what I can recall I don't think that I really gave them any real direction with this portrait. I think I told them that he's a mage and loves fire and this happened! Can't say that I'm complaining! Loving the way that this turned out! :D
Here I'm assuming that Skal is having a rare moment of reflection or thought about the element that he wields best. The many uses that it has and the number of times that it's saved him.
Skal can wield other magics of course but fire has always been a favorite of his as well as my own, and Skal's personality is molded from my own. :P
