Something I did up in Canada after thinking about how many times Renard got onto me for not drawing faces from "THE" angle. Out of boredom, and as a challenge to myself, I attempted a variant of "THE" angle on a character I already have enough trouble drawing at an angle I'm comfortable with: Vassa Kynro.
It turned out decent, but I kept putting off finishing it, especially after I found out my black marker was dying while trying to blacken the background. So I just kind of did little cloudy shading around Vassa, then colored the whole page purple. Then, I let it sit for a few days, and went back to do the colored pencil. Oddly enough, the marker had sort of faded like that, giving it a weird aura-like look.
I don't know how it happened, and I guarantee it won't happen again. But it looks cool. :3

THE angle is sort of a 3/4 angle (I didn't accomplish it very well in this picture, but hey. It doesn't look BAD... I hope). He keeps pestering me about drawing more things from that angle, and admittedly it'd be a good change from "straight forward" and "side view."
And thank-you. :3
