Artistic Freedom Commission for

And, finally, for my weekend submission I have my most favorite of all the AF commissions I did. :D I was in a very peculiar mood the day I drew this one, and I feel like I was able to tap into something special as a result. I really like how there are so many messy lines, but each one adds to the image as a whole - that has been something I've been wanting to get better at for ages, so seeing some progress is very exciting for me.
Anyway, this is a Charr! One of P9's characters in fact. A guardian from Guild Wars with a huge, majestic mane and big ol' horns. The armor was left totally to me so I went with something crystalline, and an admittedly odd pose and composition. In the end it all really came together though! I think so anyway. ^-^
Thanks so much to everyone who participated! Artistic freedom days are my absolute favorite, because I get to experiment with different styles and push my already existing ones. AND, I get to make quality art for people on the cheap! Which for some reason I really like to do. ^-^ Anyway, I've written enough for today. Enjoy and have a good weekend everybody!

I totally have it but haven't played in a while. I started with a Charr guardian but then decided I wanted to do a Necromancer instead, and then got distracted with other games. It really is an awesome game though. I love how you just pay once and there's no subscription fee after that! Makes it so I don't feel like I'm wasting any money when I'm not playing everyday. :)
